How To Keep Your Start-up Costs UNDER $100

So you’ve come across some ads on the Internet that have promised you that you can have immense riches in 1 to 2 weeks.  The prospect of earning $10,000+ per month using the Internet has got you so excited that you can already see yourself banking all those paychecks that are going to come to you like magic.

The thought of making money while you sleep, on complete auto-pilot, all from the comfort of your own home is so enticing that you’ve just forked out $77+ for a system that’s promised to show you ALL the “secrets” that are going to make you RICH!  And that’s all from working just a measly couple of hours per day.

Add to that the One Time Offer to upgrade for a one-time-fee of just $99 and your credit card bill is now around $180.  On top of ALL that, the merchant you purchased the system from is now telling you that to REALLY succeed with their program, it’s ESSENTIAL that you sign up for their Coaching Club.  This club will give you ALL the insider “secrets” and methods that will guarantee YOUR success.

And the fee for that is going to be another $47 PER MONTH!

“What the HELL??”  you’re starting to say to yourself.  I thought they were going to give me all the “secrets” to start with.  Now I’m paying for this thing and that thing.  When are all the costs going to end and the training and profits start?

Well, I can tell you now, that it will continue until YOU STOP buying products and systems.  No matter how good those systems and programs may sound, the sales copy they use are designed to make you want to buy them.

Once you understand how the sales process works, and how sales copy is designed to send you down the “sales funnel” to get you to BUY, then you can guard yourself against the enticements and pressures of purchasing.

I understand FULLY, how alluring it is to buy this thing and that thing.  That’s what good sales copy does – it makes you BELIEVE that you can’t succeed WITHOUT that program, or system or product.  It appeals to your emotions, by-passes your logic and makes the offer seem so good – so much so that you think you can’t do without it – that you keep forking out your hard earned cash.

And let’s face it, the reason why 90% of us get involved in Internet Marketing and Online Business, is because we NEED money and the potential to generate large amounts of cash from very little investment is extremely appealing.  Where else on Earth can you build a potentially, highly profitable business on a shoe string budget?

If you wanted to invest in a franchise, most franchises can cost you upwards of $100,000 or more.  And that’s JUST for the franchise rights.  Then you have to figure into that, all your running costs:  royalties, rent, stock and products, staff wages, insurance and on and on.  Even if you just wanted to set up a brick and mortar, mom and pop store, you would still be facing huge start-up and monthly costs.

That is NOT the case with an Internet business.  Running costs for an Internet business can be as low as $50 PER MONTH.

My profitable, online business costs me under $500 per month.  That’s WITH my home power, phone and Internet costs included.  I own over 15, cash producing websites – and growing.  It costs me just under $10 per month for my hosting fees (I host ALL my sites on the same hosting account), and just under $50 each per month for my auto-responder accounts.

Now $500 per month may seem like a lot of money when you are first starting out – especially since most people that get involved in Internet Marketing are in it because they NEED money.  But compare that to traditional brick and mortar businesses, and we can see the huge difference in running costs and the potential for much higher returns on your investment.

So having said all that, the way to keep your start-up costs UNDER $100, is to refrain from buying every offer, system and product that is put in front of you.  Learn and understand how the sales funnel and process works.

Learn about the different types of business models you can use – there are numerous, proven systems to choose from.  I chose Affiliate Marketing to build my business with, as you don’t require a product of your own, you don’t have to handle customer services, payments or support, or even have your own website (I’ll show you some methods you can use at a later date).

Find ONE good training program on your chosen business model, from an experienced, successful AND ethical Internet Marketer (you’ll have to do your homework here and investigate the product creator).  Learn as much as possible about that particular model and then FOCUS all your efforts on making that work.

One of the problems I faced and struggled with, was having TOO MANY options.  I didn’t focus my attention on any particular method or model, tried to do too many things at once, and as a result, I suffered from information overload and eventually, work paralysis.

So I strongly encourage you to pick ONE business model to work with – I highly recommend Affiliate Marketing to start with – and FOCUS ALL your efforts and attention on that particular method.  Once you have mastered that method, and are generating reasonable income, then you can diversify your efforts and business models.

I strongly suggest you use Ewen Chia’s system, Fast Track Cash to begin with.  It will only cost you a One-Time fee of $47, which is incredible value for your money.  Ewen is a highly respected, and very successful Internet Marketer, who has been on the scene since the 90s, knows the ins and outs of the industry, and really understands HOW to promote and sell products online.

His Fast Track Cash system is a great introduction to Affiliate Marketing.  It’ll give you the best training, advice, methods and techniques to get you started earning money very quickly, and will teach you some basic but extremely important aspects of building and running a successful Internet Marketing business.

You will also NEED to get your OWN domain name/s, and hosting account.  There are numerous Domain Registrars (a domain name registration company) available, and they all offer pretty much the same services.

I do prefer to use HostGator for all my website hosting needs, and highly recommend them to ANYONE who is serious about building a professional, online presence.  I like HostGator because they offer you the option of paying MONTHLY.

I don’t know of any other company that offers this option, as all the other companies I’ve used require you to pay your yearly subscriptions up front.  And when you’re trying to build a business for under $100, there goes at least $120 just for your hosting requirements.

These are just a couple of tips to help get you started.  It’s important to realize that there is a HUGE amount of learning and application involved in this business.  Just remember to take it one step at a time, decide which type of business model you want to work with, and learn WHERE the right place to start with that model is going to be.

I strongly suggest you get yourself and your business affairs organized.  If you are not experienced at running a business, I suggest that you learn how to run a small business and how to take care of your business affairs.  Take lessons or get professional advice and guidance.

Develop a solid business plan and marketing plan.  Set your goals and targets and work towards achieving them to the best of your abilities.  Stay disciplined, use your time wisely and efficiently, and you should be off to a great start.

Make sure you continue to visit this site so you can get the all the latest news, information, guidance and methods to help you achieve success in your business venture.
